The basics
What is SoReel?
SoReel is a UAE platform connecting social media creators with restaurants, cafés, spas, gyms, and shops. A venue posts an offer (e.g. a free meal for two), creators apply, the venue picks who they want, the creator visits and gets the perk, then posts an honest reel about the experience. No money changes hands. Just a fair trade.
Who is SoReel for?
Two sides. Creators (any follower count, on Instagram / TikTok / YouTube) who post about UAE places. Businesses (restaurants, cafés, salons, spas, gyms, retail) that want authentic creator content without going through an agency.
How much does it cost?
Creators: free, with 3 collabs per month. Creator Pro at AED 49/month lifts the monthly cap and exclusive offers. Businesses: free Starter plan (1 venue, 1 offer a month), or Pro at AED 299/month for 1 venue and 5 offers a month.
For creators
How do I apply for a collab?
Open any collab card in the feed and tap "Apply". If the offer is instant-approval (lightning bolt badge), you can claim immediately. Otherwise the venue reviews and gets back to you when they can.
My follower count is wrong on my profile.
Open Settings → Socials and tap "Refresh" next to the platform. We sync from Instagram/TikTok/YouTube directly so the number reflects what those platforms report.
I visited a venue but the staff couldn't scan my QR code.
Every QR code has an 8-character backup code below it (e.g. BCD712C0). The venue can enter it manually on their Scan page. If they're stuck, contact us with the code and we'll redeem it from our end.
I posted my content but the collab still shows "Pending".
Make sure you submitted the post link via My Collabs → Submit post. The venue then confirms within 7 days. If they don't confirm in time, the collab auto-completes.
Why was my application not selected?
Venues choose creators based on what fits their brand. Not getting picked once doesn't reflect on your account. Apply to others. We don't share venue-specific feedback.
For businesses
How do I list my venue?
Sign up at soreel.ae/onboard and pick "I'm a business". Listing is free. You can publish 1 offer a month on the free plan.
How do I review and approve applications?
All applications appear in Applications. You see the creator's verified follower count, past collabs, and ratings before deciding.
How long do I have to confirm a creator's post?
7 days from the day the creator submits. After that, the collab auto-completes and counts toward both sides' stats.
Can I publish more offers than my plan grants this month?
Upgrade to Business Pro on Pricing for more offers, or add an offer bundle in Settings.
Account & billing
How do I change my email?
Open Settings → Account and request a change. We'll email you a verification link on your current address before switching.
Is there a subscription or auto-renewal?
No. Every payment is one-off and nothing renews automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. Your plan runs for the period you paid for, and when it ends you decide whether to pay again.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Privacy → Delete my data. We process the request within 30 days as per UAE PDPL.
